WHAT IS A CSA?

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It’s a model where customers purchase a “share” of a farm’s upcoming harvest in advance. Instead of paying when the flowers bloom, you support the farm before the season starts — during the months when the most work and the most expenses happen.

When will they be ready?

Arrangements will be available early Spring 2026. Exact timing depends on weather and bloom stage. You’ll receive an email update with pickup or delivery details.

Why CSA?

Winter and early spring are the biggest preparation months on the farm — starting seeds, amending soil, prepping beds, and doing all the groundwork that makes spring blooms possible. These months come with high expenses and very quiet fields, long before a single flower opens.

How do I get my flowers?

You choose your preferred option at checkout:

  • Pick-Up:
At The Bloom Barn — our pink & green shed located on our farm in Rapidan, VA.

  • Pickup: Local farm pickup in Rapidan, VA
Delivery: Limited local delivery available for an additional fee. Click here to add delivery to your CSA

What exactly will I receive?

  • Spring Flower CSA: One hand-tied bouquet each week for three weeks, featuring a mix of premium spring blooms.

  • Tulip CSA (separate): One mason jar arrangement filled with tulips only.

Each CSA is sold separately and highlights different stages of the spring season.

Terms & Conditions

All CSA sales are final. Pickup or delivery dates cannot be changed. Missed pickups are forfeited, though you may send someone in your place. Bloom timing may shift slightly with weather and seasonal conditions. CSA purchases are preorders that directly support early-season farm expenses and sustainable, small-scale flower farming.

WHY LOCAL

Fresh Blooms, Grown Close to Home

Most grocery-store flowers travel thousands of miles before they ever reach Virginia. They often sit in boxes, lose freshness, and go through chemical treatments just to survive the trip.

Local flowers are different.

When you buy from Azalea Field Flowers, your flowers never leave the state. They’re grown in Rapidan, harvested by hand, and delivered straight to our community — no shipping, no middlemen, no guessing.

That means fresher blooms, longer vase life, and complete transparency about where your flowers came from. Supporting local also keeps your money in Culpeper and directly strengthens your local economy and agriculture. Local flowers aren’t just beautiful — they’re meaningful, sustainable, and rooted right where you live.
